ROMANCE; 10 common Misconceptions ladies have about Nigerian Guys

This is a counter thread. These beliefs most times are partially or totally incorrect, but because of societal norms and our culture, most ladies still believe them anyway. This misconceptions seem to be causing problems to the nation. Sometimes I ask myself if God Himself understand ladies

MISCONCEPTIONS LADIES HAVE ABOUT GUYS 

1. Every Guy Wants Kitty- Cat 
The mentality of an average naija lady is that our world revolve around kitty cat which is not so. The moment we invite them over to our place just to spend time with us, they are already thinking were are up to bleep their kitty cat. 

2. Tall Dudes Normally Have Long Joysticks 
why on earth would you measure the size of someone's joystick by his stature ? Many ladies believe tall dudes normally have long joysticks while fat dudes normally have small joysticks. This is are not always true

3. Handsome guys Are Proud 
Many ladies are always quick to refer to handsome guys as being proud not knowing that many of them are introverted and shy

4. Handsome Guys Are Promiscuous 
Not all handsome guys are promiscuous. Many ladies are being brainwashed by this misconception. However, it's of no doubt that handsome dudes get attention and admiration from different female folks but that doesn't mean they resort to being promiscuous. All I know is that promiscuity has nothing to handsome or ugliness, it has to do with individual's discretion


5. Guys Are Sexually Undisciplined 
NOT all guys are perverts please.. That you have come across the ones who couldn't control his urge and attempted to sexually abuse you doesn't mean that every other dude does the same thing

6. Every Guy You Woo Will Take You For Granted
Not all guys will take you for granted when express your feelings. Are you just gonna sit and fold your arms just because your friend tried it and she failed ? Many ladies have been programmed to wait for men to do the wooing even if will take eternity before men approach them.. This is a misconception that make MOST of our ladies end u in late marriage

7. All Guys Are The Same 
I'm sorry, ALL GUYS are not the same.. Because you had similar break up experience with your friends doesn't mean that all guys are the same.. If all the guys that come into your life keep treating you the same way, I'm sorry you need to visit T.B Joshua for deliverance

8. A Guy That Loves You Will Go Extra Mile 
A guy who truly loves you will go extra mile right?.. Ladies I want you to know that it's now terribly difficult to differentiate those who truly love you from those who only want to get under your pants.. As a matter of fact, the one who truly loves you will go to an extra mile while the one who only want to get under your pant will even go to an extreme mile, funny right ? Note that there's a limit to what every poo a guy can withstand even if he's destined for you, so don't treat a man like bag of Dangote cement and expect him to go extra mile as the expense of love

9. A Broke Guy Will Dump You As Soon As He Becomes Rich 
This misconception will always cause more damage than good to our ladies. Many ladies believe that broke dudes whom you have been with them thought trying times are likely to dump you as soon as they become rich.. Though, it is through that money brings out the real characters in the lives of people but that doesn't mean that a broke niqqa must dump you when he becomes rich 


10. Every Guy Trying To Be Nice Will End Up Wooing Them 
Our new generation ladies are programmed to believe that every guy who offers to pay for their services will end up wooing them.. A dude meet a random lady at a shop and offers to pay for her out of kind gesture, she tries to zoom off immediately because he doesn't want the dude to ask for her phone number.. Please for God's sake, not all guys take unnecessary opportunities of kind gesture

FOOTBALL; Luis Figo to challenge Sepp Blatter for FIFA Presidency

Dutchman Michael van Praag has announced he will stand against Sepp Blatter in the FIFA presidential election.

Luis Figo has announced that he intends to challenge Sepp Blatter in the FIFA presidential elections.

Former Portugal star Figo is one of a number of candidates to have recently declared their interest in the role, which will be decided by a vote of the 209 Member FAs at the FIFA Congress on May 29. Figo told CNN: "I care about football, so what I'm seeing regarding the image of FIFA -- not only now but in the past years -- I don't like it."If you search FIFA on the internet, you see the first word that comes out: 'scandal.' Not positive words. It's that we have to change first and try to improve the image of FIFA. Football deserves much better than this.

"I've been talking with so many important people in football -- players, managers, president of federations -- and they all think that something has to be done."Last year was the World Cup, I was in Brazil and I saw the reaction of all the fans regarding the image of FIFA and I think something has to be changed. "Change in leadership, governance, transparency and solidarity, so I think it's the moment for that."

Blatter, who is seeking a fifth term, remains the firm favourite for the role but now faces competition from former FIFA executive Jerome Champagne, Jordanian FA president Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein, Dutch FA chairman Michael van Praag, former France international David Ginola and Figo.

Former Chile FA chief Harold Mayne-Nicholls, who had previously worked as a FIFA official, has also said he could enter the running. Figo, 42, played at clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan during his career and won the Ballon d'Or in 2000 as well as the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2001.

ROMANCE; 5 REASONS LADIES FIND IT DIFFICULT TO APPROACH GUYS

This topic has been on-going for years, as we all know females are very complicated. many guys don't seem to understand the reasons why ladies refuse to approach them.
Having grown up in an environment filled with ladies I know much about them and I came up with this thread

1) shyness 
This is a part of many reasons why ladies find it hard to approach guys that lack confidence and when they eventually get the boldness to approach they guy of their dreams they get the cold feet.

2). Arrogance
Some ladies are just so arrogant and full of themselves they can't seem to reckon with the idea of approaching a guy they have instilled the idea that guys alone should approach a lady and not otherwise. i don't know where they got it from though.

3). Fear of rejection
Even we the guys fear rejection talkmore of the ladies, most ladies are afraid of rejection this sometimes can be a psychological problem both to the guys and the ladies.
The key to this is boldness and nothing else.

4). Fear of being ridiculed
It is a known fact to all that guys tend to be childish in cases like this, some guys even go as far as to tell all the guys in their department by so doing ridiculing the lady.[/

5). Respect
Some ladies believe that when they approach a guy, the guy automatically looses respect for the lady and tend to treat her like cabbage.

In the end, it takes a very smart lady to approach a guy first. i am not saying the ones that don't are not smart. Guys are complicated too.

FORMER SUPER EAGLES COACH MUSA ABDULAHI PASSES ON

 

 

Former Assistant coach of the Super Eagles, Musa Abdullahi died on Sunday January 25 after years of battling from stroke. He died in his home state of Kogi.

Abdullahi assisted Coach Fanny Amun to lead Nigeria to a second FIFA Under-17 World Cup title in Japan in 1993. He also coached the Nigerian under 17 and 20 teams. we pray his memory live on. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
